ITINERARY

DAY 1 - Arrival

Arrival: Upon arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport, our VIP representative will greet you and provide a comfortable transfer to your accommodation in or near Tel Aviv. Enjoy a Welcome Dinner and orientation by your guide, followed by free time to explore Tel Aviv at your leisure. Overnight stay in Tel Aviv. (Subject to change based on flight arrival time.)

DAY 2 - Jaffa, Caesarea, Carmel Mount 

Jaffa: Begin the day by visiting Jaffa, an ancient gateway to the Holy Land. Delve into its rich history as the port through which cedar trees for Solomon’s Temple were brought. Discover the significance of this place, where the prophet Jonah once attempted to flee from God and where St. Peter performed his first miracle by healing a little girl, after having the "Vision of the Flesh."

Caesarea: Experience the magnificence of Caesarea, a grand port city built by King Herod the Great. This is the very place from which St. Peter embarked on his journey to Rome. Explore the well-preserved theater, featuring an inscription of the Roman Procurator Pontius Pilate, known for his role in the crucifixion of Jesus.

Carmel Mount: Ascend the lush hills to Mount Carmel, where you'll visit the Carmelite Monastery. Here, the monks draw spiritual inspiration from the breathtaking views and the legendary deeds of the Prophet Elijah. This mountain was the site of his famous showdown with the prophets of Baal. In the late afternoon, we'll drive through the Galilee to Tiberias, our destination for the night.

DAY 3 - Cana, Nazareth

Cana: Visit Cana, where Jesus performed his first miracle - turning water into wine at a wedding.

Nazareth: Next, we continue our journey to Nazareth. It was the home of Mary, the blessed mother of Jesus, and also the site of the Annunciation, where the angel Gabriel delivered the divine message to Mary. In Nazareth, we will explore the remarkable Basilica of the Annunciation, an awe-inspiring testament to the sacred moment of the Annunciation. Our tour will also take us to St. Joseph's Church, which stands as a testament to the importance of family and faith. While in Nazareth, we will immerse ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the colorful Bazaar, experiencing the local culture and flavors. Additionally, we will have the opportunity to visit the Greek Orthodox St. Gabriel Church, located near Mary's Well. We will spend the night in nearby Tiberias.

DAY 4 - Sea of Galilee, Mount of Beatitudes, Capernaum, Banias River

Sea of Galilee: Our day begins with a visit to the majestic Sea of Galilee, where numerous significant events in the New Testament unfolded. We will board a wooden boat and sail on the Sea of Galilee as the disciples did 2,000 years ago. We will dock at Kibbutz Nof Geonsar and visit the “Ancient Jesus Boat” - the remains of a 2,000-year-old boat that was discovered in 1986. This boat was used at the time of Jesus and his disciples.

Mount of Beatitudes: Next, we'll ascend to the serene Mount of Beatitudes, the very place where the renowned "Sermon on the Mount" was delivered. As we absorb the tranquil surroundings, we will also visit the reconstructed church at Tabgha, a site traditionally associated with the miracle of the Bread and the Fish.

Capernaum:  Continuing our spiritual journey, we reach the historic town of Capernaum, often referred to as "the town of Jesus." Immerse yourself in the past as we explore the archaeological site, which includes both a church and a synagogue from the time of Jesus.

Banias River: Our final stop for the day takes us to the Banias River, home to the ancient town of Caesarea Philippi. Here, the profound moment when the Keys to Heaven were given to Simon Peter is remembered. Overnight in Tiberias.

DAY 5 - Mount Tabor, Megiddo

Mount Tabor: We begin the day with a visit to the awe-inspiring Mount Tabor, its majestic presence overlooking the beautiful Jezreel Valley. It is believed that this very place has been where Jesus experienced his profound Transfiguration.

Megiddo: Next, we journey to Megiddo, a site associated with the biblical prophecy of the battle of Armageddon. Through excavations here, remarkable discoveries have been unveiled, shedding light on the rich history of the Canaanites, King Solomon, and the Kingdom of Israel. Overnight in Tiberias.

DAY 6 - Jorden River Baptism, Beth Shean, Mount of Olives 

Yardenit Jordan River Baptismal Site: Our day begins with a profound visit to Yardenit, the baptismal site on the Jordan River, where Jesus received his baptism from John the Baptist.

Beth Shean: Next, we journey to Beth Shean, a city of great historical importance during the times of the Old Testament. It witnessed significant events, including the final battle of King Saul. In Jesus' era, Beth Shean was part of the Decapolis, an alliance of ten independent cities with a diverse Roman-Jewish community.

Mount of Olives:  After exploring the well-preserved antiquities of Beth Shean, we follow in Jesus' footsteps through the picturesque Jordan Valley, passing Jericho, as we make our way to Jerusalem. Our entry to this holy city is through the iconic Mount of Olives, offering breathtaking views of Jerusalem. Upon reaching Mount Scopus, we pause for a special Welcome Ceremony to Jerusalem, where we can take in the grandeur of the Holy City. Our day concludes with a peaceful overnight stay in Jerusalem.

DAY 7 - Garden of Gethsemane, Wailing Wall, Via Dolorosa, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Room of the Last Supper

Garden of Gethsemane: Our day begins with a visit to the revered Garden of Gethsemane, a place of immense significance to Jesus. It is mentioned in all four Gospels as the location where Christ sought solace in prayer and experienced deep agony before His arrest, crucifixion, and subsequent ascension to heaven in the Book of Acts.

Wailing Wall: Next, we will explore the Wailing Wall, the poignant last remnants of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem. Our tour will also encompass the awe-inspiring Temple Mount, featuring the iconic Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa Mosque.

Via Dolorosa: Following this, we embark on the emotional journey of the Via Dolorosa, also known as "the Way of Suffering." This historic route within the Old City of Jerusalem retraces the path Jesus walked on His way to crucifixion, offering a profound connection to His final moments.

Church of the Holy Sepulchre: We then arrive at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, a sacred place in Christianity. Within its walls, we encounter two of the holiest sites - Calvary, where Jesus was crucified, and the tomb where His burial and resurrection occurred.

Room of the Last Supper: As the day nears its end, we immerse ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the Old City's oriental "shuk" (bazaar) as we continue our journey on the Via Dolorosa. To conclude the day, we visit the hallowed King David's Tomb and the "Room of the Last Supper" on Mount Zion. Overnight in Jerusalem.

DAY 8 - Bethlehem, Church of the Nativity, Ein Karem 

Bethlehem: The day begins with a journey to Bethlehem, the revered birthplace of Jesus Christ. Here, we are transported back in time to the momentous occasion when the three wise men gathered, knelt, and offered precious gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh to the newborn Savior.

Church of the Nativity: Next we will visit the Church of the Nativity, a site that holds profound significance for Christians worldwide. For over two millennia, this church has stood on the very spot of the birthplace of Jesus Christ. Its sacredness has been maintained and revered by three churches, ensuring the preservation of its historical and spiritual importance. Since the 4th century AD and continuing to the present day, the Church of the Nativity has been a symbol of devotion and faith, commemorating the miraculous birth of Jesus.

Ein Karem: In the afternoon, we travel to the enchanting village of Ein Karem, where tradition holds that John the Baptist was born. Overnight in Jerusalem.

DAY 9 - Yad Vashem, Knesset, Israel Museum

Yad Vashem: The day starts with a visit to Yad Vashem, a Holocaust Memorial and Museum. Here, we pay solemn tribute to the memory of the 6 million Jews who tragically lost their lives at the hands of the Nazis. This profound experience serves as a reminder of the importance of remembering and learning from history's darkest moments.

Knesset: Next, we proceed to the iconic "Menorah," located outside the Knesset, Israel's parliament. This powerful symbol represents the rich history of the Jewish people, connecting their journey from biblical times to the present day. Standing before the "Menorah," we gain a deeper appreciation for the resilience and strength of the Jewish nation.

Israel Museum: In the afternoon, we venture to the Israel Museum, the nation's esteemed National Museum. Here, we have the privilege of viewing the original "Dead Sea Scrolls," ancient manuscripts that have captivated scholars and historians for generations. Additionally, we will marvel at the famous 1:50 scale model of Jerusalem, offering a remarkable glimpse into the city's appearance during the time of Jesus. Overnight in Jerusalem.

DAY 10 - Qumran, Ein Gedi, The Dead Sea

Qumran: We begin at Qumran, the site where the majority of the renowned "Dead Sea Scrolls" were discovered. Here, we delve into the intriguing world of the Essenes, a Jewish sect known for their austere way of life. These devout individuals likely played a vital role in composing many of the scrolls found at Qumran. Moreover, we will explore the intriguing connection between the Essenes and John the Baptist, adding an extra layer of historical intrigue.

Ein Gedi: Next, we venture to Ein Gedi, a natural oasis that harks back to the time of King David. Wewill embark on a short hike to the cave where King David sought refuge, evading the pursuit of King Saul. Here, David quietly cut off a portion of Saul's robe, marking a significant moment in their historic encounter. The unspoiled vegetation, wildlife, and flowing water offer a glimpse into the landscapes described in ancient texts.

The Dead Sea: Then, we will have the chance to float effortlessly in the Dead Sea’s mineral-rich waters, an unforgettable sensation brought about by the sea's exceptional salinity. As we float, we will appreciate that the Dead Sea represents the deepest point on earth, a truly remarkable natural wonder. Overnight in Jerusalem.

DAY 11 - Departure

Departure: Enjoy a leisurely free day in Jerusalem, allowing you to relish any last moments in this sacred city. Kindly note that hotel check-out time is at 12:00 PM, so you can make the most of your time before departure. When the time comes, our representative will be there to accompany you to Ben Gurion Airport. They will provide dedicated assistance with VAT refunds, security procedures, and passport control, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free departure process.
